February 13, 2024: Alexandria, SD 57311 In Tuesday's league outing, the Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD), by a count of 62-28.
The Beavers (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket smashed Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 41-39, in a non-league outing.
The Cubs now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they host West Central for a non-league outing on Friday, February 16. Chamberlain will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 48-39 non-league win over Canton (Canton, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.
