Mora Mustangs (Mora, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN), 54-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mora upgrades its record to 4-18 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Milaca (Milaca, MN) to face the Wolves in a AA Section 6 game on Friday, February 16. The Wolves enter the game with a record of 10-12. Milaca won 72-58 in their recent league game against Pine City (Pine City, MN)

With the defeat, East Central moves to 5-18 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN) to face the Jaguars in a AA Section 7 game on Thursday, February 15. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 13-9. Hinckley-Finlayson won 71-66 in their recent non-league game against Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN)
