North Carolina High School Basketball - Heide Trask overwhelms East Columbus
February 13, 2024: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) and the host East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC), saw Heide Trask's basketball squad wallop East Columbus by a tally of 70-44.
With the victory, Heide Trask improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to confront the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 14. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 0-9. South Columbus lost 48-25 in their recent non-league challenge against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)
Next up, the Gators confront the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. East Columbus will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 62-29 non-league loss to Pender (Burgaw, NC).
