February 13, 2025: Avoca, IA In Thursday's non-league test, the AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA), by a score of 41-28.
Next, the Vikings encounter the Southwest Valley (Corning, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 17. AHSTW will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record.
The Monarchs (2-17) will now prepare for their test against Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Rams come into the Hawkeye Ten test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Glenwood beat Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE), 73-51, in a non-league test.
