The North Star Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Bishop Carroll Huskies to 41 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Branch for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. North Star will confront a Warriors team coming off a 66-49 non-league loss to Brookville (Brookville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 19-3.

With the loss, Bishop Carroll falls to 7-14 on the campaign.
