Oklahoma High School Basketball - Claremore thwarts Guthrie
February 13, 2025: Claremore, OK 74017 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Claremore Zebras (Claremore, OK) and the visiting Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK), observed Claremore's basketball team knock off Guthrie by a score of 58-47.
The Zebras (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK). The Hornets come into the 5A District 3 challenge with a 16-7 record. In their last challenge, Booker T. Washington prevailed over Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK), 91-50, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bluejays encounter the Collinsville Cardinals (Collinsville, OK) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 14. Guthrie will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 70-63 league win over East Central (Tulsa, OK).
