February 13, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50310 Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA), 52-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hoover advances its record to 3-8 on the year. The Huskies travel to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to face the J-Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The J-Hawks enter the match with a record of 7-11. Urbandale won 62-40 in their recent non-league match against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA)
The Eagles now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlisle for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Saydel will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-48 league loss to A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-13.
