Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Milton Eagles (Milton, GA), 62-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lanier upgrades its record to 13-14 on the year.

The Eagles now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seckinger for a non-league match on Friday, February 14. Milton will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 61-48 non-league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 15-11.
