South Dakota High School Basketball - Waubay/Summit thwarts Britton-Hecla
February 13, 2025: Waubay, SD 57273 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) and the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), observed Waubay/Summit's basketball team knock off Britton-Hecla by a score of 48-33.
The Mustangs (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD). The Coyotes come into the B Region 1 challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Waverly/South Shore was knocked off by Warner (Warner, SD), 50-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves encounter the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Britton-Hecla will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Sully Buttes (Onida, SD).
