February 13, 2025: Covington, GA 30014 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) and the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), saw Apalachee's soccer squad knock off Newton by a margin of 3-1.
The Wildcats now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Seckinger for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. Apalachee will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Newton moves to 0-2 on the year. The Rams host Rockdale County (Conyers, GA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 6A Area 4 challenge on Friday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Rockdale County won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Salem (Conyers, GA)
