The Southlake Carroll Dragons overwhelmed the host Shadow Creek Sharks softball squad by a count of 15-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Southlake Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX).

The Sharks (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Alvin (Alvin, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 6A Region III District 22 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Alvin toppled Crosby (Crosby, TX), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
