Georgia High School Baseball - Cairo loses to Jackson
February 13, 2026: Cairo, GA 39828 Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the host Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA), 6-1 in a non-league game.
The Red Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Valdosta (Valdosta, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Valdosta tipped Cook (Adel, GA), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Syrupmakers now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pepperell for a non-league match on Saturday, February 14. Cairo will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Adairsville (Adairsville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
