Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) and the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), saw Scotus's basketball squad knock off Aquinas by a tally of 68-52.

With the victory, Scotus improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Madison (Madison, NE) to play the Dragons in a C1 District 8 challenge on Monday, February 18. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. Madison lost 83-53 in their recent league challenge against Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) in a C1 District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 19. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 63-55 non-league win over Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE).
