The Elk River Elks basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Champlin Park Rebels to 61 in the Elks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Elks now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogers for a AAAA Section 8 contest on Friday, February 18. Elk River will meet a Royals team coming off a 75-54 non-league loss to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Royals record now stands at 7-13.

The Rebels (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Centennial was defeated by Duluth East (Duluth, MN), 51-49, in a non-league contest.
