Choctaw Central Warriors (Philadelphia, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 79-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Choctaw Central upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 15-11. Clarksdale won 68-56 in their recent non-league bout against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS)
