Ohio High School Basketball - Copley can't hold off Wooster
February 14, 2023: Wooster, OH 44691 The Wooster Generals basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Copley Indians to 61 in the Generals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Generals now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Wooster will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 71-49 non-league win over Lutheran East (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 15-5.
The Indians (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Medina, OH). The Hornets enter the Suburban - American contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Highland was nudged by Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH), 68-60, in a non-league contest.
