The Elgin Comets basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host North Union Wildcats to 67 in the Comets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centerburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 16. Elgin will battle a Trojans team coming off a 85-66 non-league loss to River Valley (Caledonia, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 14-7.
