The Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Fosston Greyhounds to 55 in the Ponies league triumph on Tuesday.
The Ponies now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goodridge/Grygla for a A Section 8 contest on Friday, February 17. Warren-Alvarado-Oslo will meet a Chargers team coming off a 61-41 league loss to Fosston (Fosston, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 13-9.
The Greyhounds (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Goodridge/Grygla (Goodridge, MN). The Chargers enter the A Section 8 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Goodridge/Grygla was nudged by Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls (Oklee, MN), 84-61, in a league contest.
