New Mexico High School Basketball - Tatum crushes Gateway Christian
February 14, 2023: Roswell, NM 88201 Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM), 71-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tatum upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Coyotes host Hagerman (Hagerman, NM) to play the Bobcats in a 2A District 4 bout on Friday, February 17. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-17. Hagerman lost 57-45 in their recent league bout against Jal (Jal, NM)
Next up, the Warriors play the Elida Tigers (Elida, NM) in a A District 4 bout, on Saturday, February 18. Gateway Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 72-59 league loss to Dora (Dora, NM).
