Alaska High School Basketball - Grace Christian tops Wasilla
February 14, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99516 Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK), 73-60 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Grace Christian upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Nikiski (Nikiski, AK) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Peninsula bout on Friday, February 24. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-16.
Next up, the Warriors play the Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights bout, on Friday, February 17. Wasilla will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 72-62 league win over Palmer (Palmer, AK).
