The Mid-Buchanan Dragons basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Penney Hornets to 31 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawson for a non-league contest on Monday, February 20. Mid-Buchanan will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 67-22 non-league win over DeLaSalle Charter (Kansas City, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-15.

The Hornets (6-19) will now prepare for their contest against Trenton (Trenton, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-17 record.
