Kansas High School Basketball - Hays crushes Abilene
February 14, 2023: Abilene, KS 67410 Hays Indians (Hays, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Abilene Cowboys (Abilene, KS), 52-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hays upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Garden City (Garden City, KS) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Garden City lost 38-30 in their recent non-league bout against Dodge City (Dodge City, KS)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Abilene will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 52-23 non-league loss to Wamego (Wamego, KS).
