Michigan High School Basketball - Wright tops Drummond
February 14, 2023: Ironwood, MI 49938 Wright Red Devils (Ironwood, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI), 42-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wright upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Watersmeet (Watersmeet, MI) to play the Nimrods in a Copper Mountain bout on Thursday, February 16. The Nimrods come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Watersmeet won 47-43 in their recent league bout against Dollar Bay (Dollar Bay, MI)
Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Washburn Castle Guards (Washburn, WI) in a Indianhead bout, on Thursday, February 16. Drummond will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Castle Guards come into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 60-49 league win over Butternut (Butternut, WI).
