Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), 48-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sierra upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 24-4. Orcutt Academy won 75-48 in their recent non-league bout against Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA)
