February 14, 2023: Goodland, KS 67735 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Goodland Cowboys (Goodland, KS) and the visiting Lakin Broncs (Lakin, KS), saw Goodland's basketball squad wallop Lakin by a tally of 60-18.
With the victory, Goodland improves its record to 18-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Ulysses (Ulysses, KS) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-17. Ulysses lost 57-20 in their recent league challenge against Hugoton (Hugoton, KS)
Next up, the Broncs confront the Sublette Larks (Sublette, KS) in a Hi-Plains challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Lakin will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Larks come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 36-29 non-league loss to Moscow (Moscow, KS).
