February 14, 2023: Stevensville, MD 21666 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) and the visiting Kent County Trojans (Worton, MD), saw Kent Island's basketball squad wallop Kent County by a tally of 57-9.
With the victory, Kent Island improves its record to 19-0 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD) to confront the Lions in a Bayside - North challenge on Friday, February 17. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Queen Anne's County won 64-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Princess Anne, MD)
Next up, the Trojans confront the North Dorchester Eagles (Hurlock, MD) in a Bayside - North challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Kent County will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 44-16 league loss to Cambridge-South Dorchester (Cambridge, MD).
