Georgia High School Soccer - Jefferson knocks off Oglethorpe County
February 14, 2023: Jefferson, GA 30549 Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dragons confront the Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) in a 5A Area 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA).
The Patriots now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apalachee for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. Oglethorpe County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
