February 14, 2023: Marlin, TX 76661 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Marlin Bulldogs (Marlin, TX) and the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), saw Marlin's soccer squad knock off Connally by a count of 3-1.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Harmony Science Academy for a 4A Region 3 District 23 test on Friday, February 17. Marlin will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Connally drops to 4-7 on the season. The Cadets host C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX) to meet the Yoemen in a 4A Region 3 District 23 test on Friday, February 17. The Yoemen come into the test with a record of 2-8.
