February 14, 2024: Cairo, GA 39828 Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), 11-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cairo upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Syrupmakers travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Thomasville lost 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Valdosta (Valdosta, GA)
With the defeat, Berrien falls to 0-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Irwin County (Ocilla, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, February 16. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-0. Irwin County won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Atkinson County (Pearson, GA)
