Connecticut High School Basketball - Amistad ripped by Platt
February 14, 2024: Meriden, CT 06451 The Platt Panthers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Amistad Wolves to 51 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conard for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Platt will battle a Red Wolves team coming off a 80-40 non-league win over Portland (Portland, CT). The Red Wolves record now stands at 12-4.
The Wolves (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Capital Prep (Hartford, CT). The Trailblazers enter the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Capital Prep was routed by Weaver (Hartford, CT), 96-50, in a league contest.
