Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), 64-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 22-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Patriots in a 5A District 4 bout on Friday, February 16. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 28-4. Liberty Magnet won 57-36 in their recent league bout against Zachary (Zachary, LA)
