Delaware High School Basketball - The Gunston School nips Delmarva Christian
February 14, 2024: Georgetown, DE 19947 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the The Gunston School Herons (Centreville, MD) and the host Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE), saw The Gunston School's basketball squad hold off Delmarva Christian by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, The Gunston School improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Herons travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, MD) to play the Dragons in a Eastern Shore challenge on Friday, February 16. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 11-7.
Next up, the Royals play the ASPIRA Charter Wolves (Newark, DE) in a Freelance challenge, on Wednesday, February 21. Delmarva Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 77-38 league loss to Brandywine (Wilmington, DE).
