Connecticut High School Basketball - Sports & Medical Sciences Academy crushes Northwestern Regional
February 14, 2024: Hartford, CT 06106 Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT), 54-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sports & Medical Sciences Academy upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host East Hampton (East Hampton, CT) to play the Bellringers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Bellringers come into the bout with a record of 11-8. East Hampton won 77-69 in their recent league bout against North Branford (North Branford, CT)
Next up, the Highlanders play the Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT) in a Berkshire bout, on Thursday, February 15. Northwestern Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record.
