New Jersey High School Basketball - Pioneer Academy topped by NV - Demarest
February 14, 2024: Demarest, NJ 07456 The NV - Demarest Norsemen basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the visiting Pioneer Academy Eagles to 71 in the Norsemen non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Norsemen now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyndhurst for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. NV - Demarest will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 81-42 non-league win over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ). The Golden Bears record now stands at 17-8.
The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ). The Bucs come into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Blair Academy prevailed over Pennington (Pennington, NJ), 84-44, in a non-league contest.
