Vermont High School Basketball - White River Valley trounces Springfield
February 14, 2024: Springfield, VT 05156 The White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) basketball crushed the host Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT), 91-42 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Green Mountain (Chester, VT). The Chieftains go into the Marble Valley - C test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Green Mountain walloped Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT), 49-43, in a non-league test.
The Cosmos now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Rivendell Academy for a Southern Vermont - C test on Friday, February 16. Springfield will encounter a squad coming off a 70-38 non-league loss to Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The record now stands at 10-8.
