The Juniata Valley Hornets basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Bedford Bisons to 42 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homer-Center for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Juniata Valley will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 52-42 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-12.

The Bisons (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, Chestnut Ridge triumphed over Richland (Johnstown, PA), 48-30, in a league contest.
