February 14, 2025: Benton, LA 71006 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) and the visiting Lakeside Warriors (Sibley, LA), saw Benton's baseball team gain a win over Lakeside by a tally of 10-0.
The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, St. Edmund was overwhelmed by St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors face the Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 15. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA).
