Minnesota High School Basketball - Wadena-Deer Creek holds off Aitkin
February 14, 2025: Wadena, MN 56482 The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Aitkin Gobblers to 49 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now possess a 8-16 record. They play next when they host Pillager for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18.
With the loss, Aitkin falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Gobblers host Proctor (Proctor, MN) to confront the Rails in a AA Section 7 game on Tuesday, February 18. The Rails go into the game with a record of 9-13.
