The North Eugene Highlanders basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Ashland Grizzlies to 40 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Churchill for a 5A Midwestern game on Tuesday, February 18. North Eugene will confront a Lancers team coming off a 62-61 non-league win over Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 11-8.
