February 14, 2025: Lenox, IA 50851 Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA), 51-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Atlantic upgrades its record to 5-16 on the year. The Trojans host Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to face the Monarchs in a Hawkeye Ten match on Tuesday, February 18. The Monarchs enter the match with a record of 2-18. Denison-Schleswig lost 92-50 in their recent league match against Glenwood (Glenwood, IA)
The Tigers now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Ayr for a Pride of Iowa match on Monday, February 17. Lenox will face a Raiders squad coming off a 77-34 league win over East Union (Afton, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 19-4.
