The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) and the visiting Bloomfield Warhawks (Bloomfield, CT), observed Central's basketball team overcome Bloomfield by a margin of 71-60.

The Golden Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record.

In their next game, the Warhawks battle the Classical Purple (Providence, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Bloomfield will attempt to better on its 17-4 season record. The Purple come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 66-45 league win over Shea (Pawtucket, RI).
