Kansas High School Basketball - Independent trounced by Chaparral
February 14, 2025: Wichita, KS 67207 Chaparral Roadrunners (Anthony, KS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Independent Panthers (Wichita, KS), 64-31 in a league match.
With the victory, Chaparral advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Roadrunners host Kingman (Kingman, KS) to face the Eagles in a Central Plains match on Thursday, February 20. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-12. Kingman lost 52-24 in their recent league match against Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS)
The Panthers now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a Central Plains match on Monday, February 17. Independent will face a Dragons squad coming off a 64-56 league loss to Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 3-14.
