February 14, 2025: Harlan, KY 40831 Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 73-21 in a league match.
With the victory, Harlan County upgrades its record to 21-7 on the year. The Black Bears travel to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 17-4. Knox Central won 88-77 in their recent non-league match against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)
The Green Dragons now sport a 4-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitley County for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Harlan will face a Colonels squad coming off a 88-77 non-league loss to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 18-9.
