Vermont High School Basketball - Springfield fells Mount Anthony
February 14, 2025: Springfield, VT 05156 The Springfield Cosmos basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Mount Anthony Patriots to 58 in the Cosmos non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cosmos now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to White River Valley for a Southern Vermont - C game on Monday, February 17. Springfield will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 70-32 non-league win over West Rutland (West Rutland, VT). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-0.
With the loss, Mount Anthony falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Patriots host Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT) to confront the Bulldogs in a Southern Vermont - A match on Tuesday, February 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-8. Burr & Burton lost 47-36 in their recent non-league match against Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT)
