Illinois High School Basketball - Tinley Park holds off Sandburg
February 14, 2025: Tinley Park, IL 60477 The Tinley Park Titans basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Sandburg Eagles to 44 in the Titans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Titans now have a 15-11 record. They play next when they host Lemont for a South Suburban game on Tuesday, February 18. Tinley Park will confront a Lemont HS team coming off a 70-55 league win over Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 21-7.
With the loss, Sandburg falls to 15-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to confront the Knights in a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, February 18. The Knights go into the game with a record of 21-9. Lincoln-Way Central won 58-37 in their recent league game against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
