February 14, 2025: Canton, GA 30114 Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Gilmer advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 18. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 0-1. Fannin County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Union County (Blairsville, GA)
The Warriors now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 18. Cherokee will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-2.
