The St. Martin Yellow Jackets softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting East Central Hornets to 3 in the Yellow Jackets non-league win on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vancleave for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15. St. Martin will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Biloxi (Biloxi, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, East Central moves to 1-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Mary G. Montgomery (Semmes, AL) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15.
