Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX), 7-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Wakeland improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Wolverines host Pearce (Richardson, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, February 14. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 0-2. Pearce lost 14-4 in their recent non-league game against Emerson (McKinney, TX)
