Indiana High School Basketball - Triton Central tops Monrovia

Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN), 53-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Triton Central upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN) to play the Hornets in a Indiana Crossroads bout on Friday, February 18. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Beech Grove won 70-50 in their recent non-league bout against Indianapolis Washington (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Danville Warriors (Danville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 17. Monrovia will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 64-63 non-league win over North Putnam (Roachdale, IN).
