February 15, 2022: Des Moines, NM 88418 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) and the host Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM), saw Springer's basketball squad wallop Des Moines by a tally of 74-19.
With the victory, Springer improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM) to confront the Trojans in a A District 5 challenge on Wednesday, February 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Wagon Mound lost 70-25 in their recent league challenge against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM)
Next up, the Demons confront the Roy/Mosquero Blue or Lady Blue (Roy, NM) in a A District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 18. Des Moines will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Blue or Lady Blue come into the challenge with a 19-4 record after their 64-33 league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, NM).
